Big news in the McMeel Insurance world. We now have an office in Los Angeles, California!
We recently acquired the Malcolm Brown Insurance Agency located not too far from downtown Culver City. The Malcolm Brown Insurance Agency was originally founded in 1986, and has specialized in Small Business Insurance, Earthquake Insurance (Personal & Commercial), and a full suite of Personal Lines insurance services. The owner, Malcolm Brown, was looking to retire but wanted to sell his agency to someone who understood the value of a “service first” insurance office vs. a sales driven company. I am still a little unclear how we found each other, but I am glad we did!
Another key factor for Malcolm was finding another insurance agency to not only take care of his clients, but his fantastic staff as well. We could not be more excited to be bringing Sharon Savage and Jackie Aguilar on board with us, and are enjoying learning from their expertise in the industry. While we know many of Malcolm’s clients are sad to see Malcolm retire we also know that they will be thrilled to work with us.
We look forward to building on the success of Malcolm’s hard work, and incorporating the same principals that have made McMeel Insurance a success since 1979.
